Without dat., which is easily supplied (X., Hiero 5, 4; SIG 1173, 5 [138 A.D.]) 1 Cor 12:26 (metaph.: the ‘parts’ stand for the believers).—W. dat. of thing as cause of rejoicing (Herm.
